Outdoor running may also be dangerous. The world is full of opportunities for an accident to take place. You may fall down a manhole, get struck by lightning, or step on a shard of glass. And with your earbuds blasting noise, you won't notice that motorist until their car hits you and your entire world fades to black. Change everything by exercising on a treadmill.

Treadmills enable you to exercise under any weather condition. The weather is notoriously inconsistent, and no one can guarantee that you will continue to be enjoying clear, warm weather tomorrow.

You don't ever need to worry whether it is too hot outside, too windy, too cold, or too wet. The only thing that will drench you is your perspiration while you run on your treadmill, listening to smooth jazz.

4. Simulate different terrain

Say you are training for a marathon, with all the challenges it involves such as uneven terrain and running across distances. However, you have got one big problem: you reside in the flatlands and the terrain is as flat as a pancake.

You can recreate the challenges of running on a steep mountain by means of a treadmill. You can also turn down the thermostat to simulate subzero conditions.
